Wheelchair rides

Our van has a ramp and secured seating, so you stay in your own chair. Your driver secures it before we leave and helps you off at your destination.

Ambulatory rides

For riders who can walk but need a steady arm or a little more time. Your driver meets you at the door, helps you into the van and sees you to your appointment.

Help at the door

Tell us what you need when you call, like a walker, a power chair or a caregiver riding along. If we can't fit it, we'll tell you up front.

About Guideway

Guideway Medical Transportation was started to help people in the Omaha area get to their medical appointments. We drive wheelchair and ambulatory riders in vehicles equipped with a ramp, and our trained drivers help riders at the door, on the ride and at their destination. We serve Omaha, La Vista, Bellevue, Papillion and the surrounding communities in Douglas and Sarpy Counties.

Who we serve

Seniors, people with disabilities, and anyone who needs a hand getting to a medical appointment.

We also work with the family members and caregivers who arrange the ride, and with care facilities such as nursing homes and assisted living.

Regular trips like dialysis and physical therapy are welcome too. Call and tell us the schedule.
